BUT, Ive seen pictures of lots of 440 blocks that were modified to fit Hemi heads and mains. they have been milled just enough to clean them up and yes they are max wedge port. So, I doubt Im wrong, but HEMI and 440 Mains are NOT going to interchange without a lot of modification of each and their blocks. they were hand ported and i did not have them flowed. one head had a piston hit it lightly but it is 100% ok. I have had them checked out from my machinest Dale Meers in buffalo Ky. I have a really nice ported set of indy 440-1 cast iron heads.
